Bellefontaine boys take runner-up spot at Urbana tourney
Benjamin Logan’s boys golf team took a step forward Tuesday by claiming second-place honors at Indian Lake’s Russ Hogue Memorial at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

Springfield Shawnee won the six-team tournament with a score of 346, Ben Logan claimed the runner-up spot with a 353 and Lima Central Catholic was five strokes back in third with 358.
Tecumseh finished in fourth with 384, Riverside came in fifth with 393 and the host Lakers were sixth with 415.
Shawnee’s Grant Engle was tournament medalist with a low round of 70.
“We’re making progress, but we aren’t happy, which is a good sign,” said Ben Logan head coach Chris Conley. “The guys know they are wasting shots, especially chipping and putting. (Today’s) practice will be geared toward those areas.”
