The Logan County Farm Bureau expressed thanks to the many individuals who supported their recent Agriculture Impact Fund Reverse Raffle, now in its sixth year, and with a longstanding goal of growing the Logan County Agriculture Impact Grant Fund.
“We are excited to announce that this year’s raffle raised over $17,000,” said Joel Penhorwood, Logan County Farm Bureau president. “We’re excited to be able to offer this money back to our community.”

The fund is used to improve the agricultural footprint for youths in the county by providing classroom/club mini-grants, larger project grants, and scholarships.
In its entirety, the organization has provided close to $60,000 for these programs that focus on Logan County youths and their involvement in the agriculture industry.
This year, the raffle also pledged the money earned from the sale of the 250th ticket to the Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund. The sale yielded $2,400, and the Logan County Farm Bureau pledged an additional $1,000 to the efforts.
The Logan County Farm Bureau expressed appreciation to the following prize donors and corporate sponsors: Stembles Meat, Bambauer Fertilizer & Seed, Nate’s Nectar, and Farm Credit Mid-America. Additional donors were Angle’s Nursery and Landscaping, Koenig Equipment, Pro Equipment, Patty Richardson, The Depot, Tops Towing and Equipment, Treasured Stoneworks, Fred Hoffman Family, C&A Engraving, Marie’s Candies, The Rusty Crow, and the Nest.
