Phyllis Jean Swingley, 78, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born March 26, 1939, the daughter of Myrl and Ruth Seaman Channell. She married John D. Swingley on Dec. 6, 1963, and he preceded her in death in June 2017. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was also an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include her sons, Duane (Jennifer) Swingley, Michael Kliber and Robert Kliber; daughter, Connie (Jack) Rausch; grandchildren, David (Cheyenne) Swingley, Hunter Swingley, Ethan Swingley, Delayne Swingley, Kurt Raush, Lorenda Rausch and Jennifer Kliber; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, David Thomas Swingley and Ronald Allen Kliber. Memorial services are 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec 10, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home, 5591 S.
