Melvin “Dale” Claybaugh, 59, of Belle Center, passed away Friday, Dec. 15,2017, at OSU James Cancer Hospital.
He was born Feb. 20, 1958, in Kenton. His father Melvin R. Claybaugh passed away in 1965. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Joan and William Berry. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Gregory Claybaugh and Todd Berry.
He is survived by sons, Melvin Dale Claybaugh and William James Claybaugh and three grandchildren of Florida; fiancée, Mary Curtis of Columbus; brother, William (Marsha) Berry of Cambridge; sisters, Susan (Jon) Cronkleton of Zanesfield, Karen (Kenny) May of Belle Center and Pam (Don) Patton of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Dale graduated from Benjamin Logan High School. He loved to fish and hunt. The Rev. Craig Mansfield officiates a graveside service at the convenience of the family through arrangements by Price-McElroy Funeral Home.
