Dolores “De” Graham, 84, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 10:28 p.m. Sunday, Dec.17, 2017, at Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born in Bellefontaine on June 21, 1933, the only daughter of the late Russell L. and Marguerite Goldschmidt Hill. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Michael Colletti.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Ronald E. Graham, whom she married June 22, 1981, in Tennessee. She is also survived by two daughters; Susan D. (Bradley) Scudds of Bellefontaine and Christina D. (Richard) Moran of Russells Point, two stepsons, Jeffrey Graham of New Carlisle and Rick (Sharon) Graham of Huntsville; four grandsons, Joshua Hale of Virginia, C.J. Costin of Delaware, Ohio, Evan Bright of Bellefontaine and Alex Johnson of Russells Point; one granddaughter, Samantha Scudds of Urbana; two stepgranddaughters, Rebecca and Sarah Graham of Huntsville; and one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Hale of Richmond, Va.
De was a 1951 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and later worked as the Bellefontaine city tax administrator for 22 years. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, where she served on the financial committee and sang in the choir. She also was a member of the Bonafada Circle of King’s Daughters and was a former member of its Ways and Means group and she also served on the United Way Committee.
Pastor Bill Prater officiates private graveside services in the Bellefontaine Cemetery through arrangements with Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. There is no scheduled visitation.
