Danny T. Hildreth, 53, of 140 S. Main St., West Mansfield, was charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing following an incident at his residence Sunday evening.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 6:15 p.m. to a report of an active domestic dispute with a weapon involved. While en route, deputies were advised that the man involved had a knife and was threatening the woman on the phone with dispatchers.
Upon their arrival, deputies spoke with Hildreth’s wife, Bobi, 52, who was visibly upset and crying. She said her husband had threatened her with a knife and also attempted to take her cellular phone from her when he learned that she was trying to call law enforcement.
