Bellefontaine High School senior Lilli LeVay’s essay was selected as the winner of the Bellefontaine Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s essay contest. Her essay is advancing to the state level after she also won the Northwest Ohio contest.
She will receive a $100 check from the local contest, and her school will display the Madonna of the Trail trophy for the coming year in her honor.
Lilli, along with three other high school seniors, Kayle Null from Benjamin Logan High School, Christina Bowen from Indian Lake High School and Alexis Christon from the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, each was recently honored by the Bellefontaine Chapter of the NSDAR with Outstanding Good Citizen Awards. They each completed the essay that answered the question, “How has America advanced the cause of freedom in the rest of the world?”
