Indian Lake’s girls basketball team used a stellar performance from Stephanie Altstaetter to beat host Upper Scioto Valley on Wednesday in a non-league game.
The Lakers are now 5-5 on the season. The Rams fall to 3-6.
Altstaetter piled up 26 points and 16 rebounds.
Indian Lake shot 20 of 29 at the free-throw line. The Lakers made nine free throws in the fourth quarter to ice the victory.
The Lakers led 9-7 after one quarter. The Rams moved in front 19-17 at halftime.
The Lakers went on a 16-10 run in the third quarter to take a 33-29 advantage.
Indian Lake was able to stay in front in the final period.
Mackenzie Dixon added nine points for the Lakers.
There was no junior varsity game.
Indian Lake is back in action next Wednesday at home against Tecumseh.
