Bellefontaine’s boys wrestling team earned a 48-28 dual meet victory over visiting Kenton on Wednesday.
“It was good to see our guys bounce back after last week and pick up a dual win,” said BHS head coach Aaron LaBatt. “Zane Tevis fought from behind to pin a real solid kid. I also thought Zavier May showed a lot of fight in a 10-0 loss to a returning state alternate. He’s making progress even if that score doesn’t show it.”
Recording pins for the Chieftains were Kaden Hobart (120), Zane Tevis (132) and Sam Varian (165).
Receiving wins by forfeit for Bellefontaine were Jared Young (106), Jeffery Smith (113), Devyn Horsley (138), Parker Knox (190) and Charlie Bible (285).
Bellefontaine is back in action Jan. 7 at the Olentangy Orange Invitational.
