Jack Thomas Eagy Sr., 64, of Zanesfield, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 24, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 18, 1952, in Chicago, Ill., a son of Esther Rosengarten Eagy and the late Donald Eagy Sr.
He married his loving wife, Betina Tucker Eagy on June 14, 1975, in Chicago. Their marriage was blessed and vows renewed on Oct. 18, 2016, in their home.
Jack was the “patriarch” of his family. He was a loving and caring son, husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. His greatest joy in life was his family, his music and good cooking.
His survivors are his mother, Esther Rosengarten Eagy; loving wife of 41 years, Betina Tucker Eagy; daughter, Joyce (Luther) White; two sons, Jack (Jessica) Eagy Jr. and Adam (Jamie) Eagy; nine grandchildren, Bridget, Sarah, Hannah, Joseph, Cody, Noah, Jacob, Jack III and Adam; five sisters, Roseann (Matthew) Cole, Mary (Dick) Hardin, Anita (Larry) Tucker, Kathleen Thompson and Jennifer Wren; three brothers, Donald Jr. (Sheila) Eagy, James (Michelle) Eagy and Casey (Cheryl) Eagy; mother-in-law, Joyce Tucker Todd; and many nieces and nephews.
We love and miss you, but know you are at peace in Heaven.
A Memorial Mass is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at St. Patrick Church, 328 E. Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine.
