Harley J. Stump Jr., 72, of Belle Center, passed away at 6:36 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born on October 13, 1949, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a son of the late Harley Junior and Doris Evelyn (Smith) Stump.
Harley is survived by his ex-wife, Dawn (Arbogast) Stump; two children, Jodi (Jaimie) Young and Joshua Stump; six grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Tanner Stump, Haylee Stump, Trey Spearman, Ty Stump, and Jessie Stump; three great granddaughters, Beau, Layla, and Amelia; two brothers, Ron (Jacque) Stump and Todd (Sarah) Stump; and many nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Harley retired from the former D.A.B. in Bellefontaine. He had been a volunteer for the Belle Center EMS and Fire Department for over 20 years. Harley was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533 and the American Legion.
Per Harley’s request, there will be no public services.
