Naylor told deputies she had consumed three beers several hours earlier and she submitted to field sobriety tests.

McVay was transported by Riverside EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.
While investigating the crash scene, deputies recovered open containers of beer from the vehicle. Damage was heavy to the vehicle, which was towed from the scene.
Deputies also met with the driver at the hospital, where they observed signs of intoxication. McVay told deputies that he had consumed alcohol that day and had been under the influence while driving.
