Beverly A. Lantz, 74, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Green Hills in West Liberty.
A 1966 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Wapakoneta, she enjoyed writing and spending time with her grandchildren, especially when they could share time outdoors.
Born May 26, 1947, in Lima, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Stark) Leppla.
On February 10, 1996, she married her husband of 26 years, Willis D. Lantz, and he survives in Bellefontaine. She is also survived by her daughters, Dawn Skeen of Bellefontaine, Tammy (Glen) Higginbotham of Bellefontaine; a son, Michael (Shawna) Harrod of Spencerville; step-children, Scott (April) Lantz of Bellefontaine, Michael (Jennifer) Lantz of Dover and Joshua Lantz of Bellefontaine; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her brothers, John (Kathy) Leppla of Mt Orab, Franz (Gretchen) Leppla of FL, Martin (Linda) Leppla of Uniopolis and Gary (Teresa) Leppla of Wapakoneta; a sister, Maria Cummings; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the West Mansfield Baptist Church. Pastor Sam Newell and Pastor Sharon Van Winkle will officiate and burial will follow at the Hathaway Cemetery.
