Robert “Bob” Kenneth Miller, Jr., 86, of Huntsville, OH passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Belle Springs in Bellefontaine, OH.
Robert was born on June 7, 1935, in Springfield, OH, to the late Robert Sr., and Anna L. Asebrook Miller. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rita Harrison and Ruth Bailey.
Bob married the former Sarah Mae Smith who preceded him in death in November 2020, shortly after they had celebrated 48 years of marriage.
Bob is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Wallace, brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob (Ann) Smith, Barbara (Gary) Kinninger, Peggy Smith, and Carol Smith, along with several nieces and nephews.
Bob’s family relocated to Huntsville when he was young, where his family operated a dairy farm and sawmill that he worked on until 1971 when Bob went to work for Jim Duff at Duff Quarry. Bob worked for Duff Quarry for 47 years until the age of 83 when he retired. Bob attended Huntsville School and he and Sarah attended Muchinippi Church. Bob will be remembered as a kind, hardworking man that enjoyed his home and work.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
