Edna Arlene Henry, 85, of West Liberty, passed away at 6:35 p.m Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the Green Hills Inn.
She was born in Marion on July 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Leon and Gladys Sidney Huntsman Burrey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, Leonard and Dick Burrey, and two sisters, Dorothy Chapel and Bernice Strine.
On Nov. 1, 1950, in Maysville, Ky., she married Willis Franklin Henry and he survives, along with their four daughters, Nancy Flora, Carol (Dave) Thornburg and Becky (Roger) Kendall, all of West Liberty, and Shirley Franks of Bellefontaine; a son, Michael (Joanie) Henry of Sidney; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edna was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, the Indian Lake Moose Lodge, Indian Lake Eagles and the Red Hat Society. She loved to camp and travel. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family, especially her grandchildren.
The Henry family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Green Hills Inn as well as Universal Hospice for their outstanding care.
Pastor Kay Young officiates a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, in Foundation Hall at Green Hills, West Liberty. Private burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery at a late date.
