A Bellefontaine woman was arrested twice Thursday over a three-hour period, first for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and later for public intoxication.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report Dianne M. Harriell-Blair, 31, of 804 W. Patterson Ave., was driving eastbound on Lincoln Avenue around 7:15 p.m. and her car hit two parked cars, one registered to Jeffrey E. Secrist, 108 Lincoln Ave., and the other to Logan F. Engle, 104 Lincoln Ave.
Damage was heavy to the cars.
Officers found her in the car with her two daughters, ages 12 and 13, and immediately detected an odor of alcohol while talking to her.
She repeatedly started and shut off the car before officers took custody of the keys.
The daughters were released to their stepfather.
Field sobriety tests indicated Harriell-Blair was under the influence of alcohol and she submitted a breathalyzer sample of 0.28.
She may face endangering charges for having her daughters in the car.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
By 10 p.m., she was out and observed stumbling as she walked in the 600 block of north Troy Road around 10 p.m.
She was arrested again and taken back to jail.
