Laura A. Jolly, 49, of 11323 Chickasaw Path, Lakeview, was charged with felonious assault and domestic violence related to an incident at her residence early Wednesday morning.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the home about 1:50 a.m. in reference to a domestic complaint, and were met outside by Jolly.
Inside the home, deputies observed that Troy Crabtree, 58, also of that address, had sustained a small cut to his left leg and also a small cut to his lower right chin. He said Jolly had held the knife up to his throat and also stabbed him in the leg.
Another witness at the home said he observed Jolly stab Crabtree’s leg, but also noted that she had “went beserk” and believed the stabbing was an accident. Deputies were able to collect the knife at the scene.
Indian Lake EMS responded to assess Crabtree’s injuries. He was treated at the scene and refused EMS transport.
Jolly told deputies that she had asked Crabtree to leave the residence and that he had been waving the knife at her. She stated she took the knife from him and set it on the kitchen counter, and denied injuring Crabtree.
She was placed under arrest and lodged in the Logan County Jail. Crabtree also was arrested for a parole violation at the request of his parole officer since he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Deputies report Deandre L. Barnes, 35, of Sidney, was operating the UPS truck about 4:15 p.m. and was attempting to turn right onto County Road 12 from a residence at 2963 C.R. 12. The front of the UPS vehicle reportedly was left of center and Cox’s northbound 2012 Kia Sorento struck the front of the UPS truck.
Barnes did not report any injuries, and was cited for driving left of center. Damage was moderate to the Cox vehicle, which was towed from the scene, and light to the UPS truck. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
