William O. “Bill” Roark, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2016.
He was born May 27, 1944, in Rockcastle County, Ky., the oldest son of Anna McGuire Roark and Walter Roark.
Bill was a jack of all trades but retired from Ryder Moving Company in 2006. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Linda (Miller) Roark; three children, Debbie Roark (Charlie) Kuhn of Pennsylvania, Tonya (Matt) Roark of Bellefontaine and Bruce (Cristi) Roark of Marysville; seven grandchildren, Tearra, Janna, Kim, Michael, Robin Michelle, Brian and Brittany; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Lilly; his sister, Barbara (Mike) Davenport of Lexington, Ky; and a brother, Thomas (Peggy) Roark of Crab Orchard, Ky.
A private memorial service is planned for Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine where Pastor Daniel McCarthy will officiate.
Bill gave his heart to Christ and is now celebrating his homecoming in heaven.
