• Ring of Lights Halloween Drive-Thru — 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, Logan County Fairgrounds, for ages preschool through elementary; participants should enter through the Harding Street gate at the east end of the fairground, the event winds throughout the property and exits onto Lake Avenue.
• Pumpkin Glow and Stroll — 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, Angles Nursery, 3103 U.S. Route 68, Bellefontaine, benefiting the United Way of Logan County; local families, non-profit groups, churches, youth organizations and businesses donated their time to carve pumpkins for a nighttime stroll event, with entries entered into a public choice award contest; patrons invited out early for food truck, corn maze and wagon rides.
• Discovery Riders’ Sensory Sensitive, Socially Distanced Trunk or Treat — 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, Linda Lane Hauck Equestrian Center, 1797 E. State Route 47, Bellefontaine; local businesses, organizations, community members lining parking lot to hand out candy and goodies as kids and families walk through dressed in costumes; participants asked to refrain from: wearing scary costumes or masks; using fog machines, strobe lights/lighting effects, and loud music; local food trucks on site, all ages and abilities welcome.
• Zanesfield United Methodist trick-or-treat outreach — 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, goodie bags and prewrapped hot dogs will be available, with social distancing observed.
• Logan County Beggar’s Night — 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31; Logan County Mayor’s Association members previously said conducting Beggar’s Night on a Saturday enables more parents to be home with their children, and hosting the event during daylight hours provides a safer environment for participating youths.
