SIDNEY — Officers of the Sidney Police Department, along with assistance from the Sidney-Piqua Tactical Response Unit, arrested two suspects Wednesday following execution of a narcotics search warrant at a Miami Avenue residence.
Ronnie J. Scholl, 39, of Sidney, and Tyler Oakley, 31, at-large, were arrested and charged with felony counts of trafficking in drugs; and possession of drugs, and possession of criminal tools, respectively, after officers recovered suspected methamphetamine, heroin, steroids and drug paraphernalia during a search of the residence that began about 11:45 a.m.
Additionally, a loaded 9 mm handgun was recovered, along with equipment believed to be utilized for the production of counterfeit money.
The suspects were lodged in Shelby County Jail, and additional charges are pending.
