Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a hit-skip crash on County Road 23 near State Route 47 between 10 and 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Joseph Swartz, 18, of Maplewood, told deputies he was southbound in a buggy when a northbound maroon vehicle traveled left of center and hit his vehicle.
He was not injured. Damage to the buggy was limited to a front wagon wheel.
A resident near the crash site helped transport the damaged buggy to Swartz’ home.
• Linkon D. Williams, 18, of West Liberty, was cited for failure to control after a 9 p.m. crash Wednesday at County Road 62 and Township Road 295.
He was southbound in a car and failed to negotiate a turn at the intersection. The car traveled off the roadway, hit a stop sign and came to a rest in a ditch. Damage was heavy to the car, but there were no reported injuries.
