Zanesfield Village Council approved resolutons for tree maintenance and updated signage, as well as accepted the resignation of a member of council Monday in a regular meeting.
Council authorize JT Tree Service to trim village trees at a cost not to exceed $2,000 for work that will complete tree trimming begun in 2018, according to meeting notes.
A quote from Earthworks was also accepted to repairs portions of Green Alley at a cost not to exceed $500.
Street committee members are currently in the process of reviewing quotes received from different companies for village street signs. A resolution was passed to authorize the purchase of new signs at a cost not to exceed $1,500.
The resignation of councilman R. Scott Miller was accepted immediately because of personal reasons.
Council thanked Scott for his service. Any interested applicants may contact the village office for more information. Applicants must live within the village corporation limits for more than one year and be a registered voter.
