Terry Levan, 71, of Kenton, died at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Kenton, a son of the late John and Minerva Boysel Levan.
On May 1, 1998, he married Shelby LeMaster, the love of his life, and she survives, along with three daughters, Andrea (Phil) Ross of West Mansfield, Kristy (Jeremy) Gillfillan of Mt. Victory and Katie (Phil) Gwynn of Kenton; four sons, Scott (Carmen) LeVan of Bellefontaine, Tom (Jamie) LeVan of Belle Center, Josh LeVan of East Liberty and Brody Harris of Kenton; a sister, Phylis (Richard) Radlinski of Queens Town, Md.; 15 grandchildren, Emily, Alex, Mandy, Mackenna, Storm, Chase, Belle, Mia, Dayne, Kayla, Gracie, Noah, Abby, Kody and Willie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Gavin Baldwin; and a brother, Charles LeVan.
He grew up in Logan County and graduated from Logan Hills High School in 1962.
He was a proud American and served in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army 164th Military Police Company ANSCOM Division from 1965 to 1967. Terry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be at a later date through arrangements by Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, where condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
