Ohio Hi-Point Board of Education members approved at their Wednesday evening meeting two student trips to attend national conferences slated for this summer, and also handled a number of personnel items and preparations for next school year.
The board approved the attendance of Rick Allen, Marysville Early College High School satellite engineering instructor, and Todd Bodey, Triad satellite advanced manufacturing instructor, to chaperone students competing at the SkillsUSA National Conference in Louisville, Ky., during June.
Donna Jarzab, Graham satellite family consumer science instructor, was approved to chaperone students competing at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America’s National Conference in Atlanta, Ga., also in June.
