Sandra S. Baker, 81, of Russells Point, formerly of Upper Sandusky, died Sept. 5, 2020 at OSU Medical Center. She was born June 24, 1939, in Upper Sandusky to the late Robert and Anna (Earp) Patchett. On Aug. 3, 1957 she married William Baker Jr. and he survives in Russells Point.
She is survived by five children Donald (Lisa) Baker, Upper Sandusky, Devy Baker, Chapel Hill, Tenn., Dawn (Jerry) Pelfrey, Upper Sandusky, Deanne (Eric) Doornbos, Kenton, and Douglas (Kelli Clark) Baker, Hilliard; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-granchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Bohlen of Fostoria. Four sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and also worked at Bailey’s Super Market, Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Wilson Grocery, and Zimmerman Printing. Sandra was a member of Moose Lodge 1093, Eagles 3615, and an auxiliary member of Amvets Post 777. She enjoyed completing puzzle books, reading, watching old John Wayne movies, watching hummingbirds, bar bingo and making zucchini bread.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bringman Clark Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Bringman Clark Fueneral Home with Rev. Larry Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
