Raymond Scott Reese, 58, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday afternoon, Sept. 6, 2020, at The Ohio State University – Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
Raymond was born in Bellefontaine on April 9, 1962, to the late Charles Milton and Norma Jean (Smith) Reese. He was also preceded in death by a niece Amanda Peters and a great-nephew Ethan Peters.
Raymond is survived by brothers: Charles (Teresa Allen) Reese, Jr. of Bellefontaine, William “Pete” (Jane) Reese of Bellefontaine; sisters: Deb (Gary) Douglas of Venice, Florida, Nora (Bob) Hertenstein of Bellefontaine, and Elsie (Jeff) Williams of Bellefontaine; nieces and nephews: Craig Reese, Hilery Reese, Cati (Chris Johnson) Reese, Christi Evans, Clint (Samantha) Oaks, Kim (Brian Betts) Reynolds, Darren (Amy) Hertenstein, John (Angie Murphy) Peters, and Jeremiah Grumbling; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
Raymond attended Benjamin Logan Schools. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and loved to “people watch” around town.
Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. Due to current pandemic orders, please be symptom free, practice social distancing, and consider wearing a mask.
Burial will be at a later date in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
