Ronda Kay Matthews, 68, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at her home.
Ronda was born on Dec. 25, 1951 in Lima, a daughter of the late Robert Vermillion and Mary Louise Baumgartner Little. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Hughes.
Ronda is survived by her four children, Lance (Jill) Lilly of Bradenton, Fla., Shane (Sherri) Matthews of Belle Center, Christy (Larry) Kiser of Zanesfield, and Lesa (Robert) Palmer of Bellefontaine, four grandchildren, Shane Matthews, Jr., Trent Rollins, Arissa Rollins, and Zachary Palmer, seven great-grandchildren, four siblings, Robert Vermillion, Linda Lyburtus, Susan (Mike) Leugers, and Kimberly (Duane) Davis, several nieces and nephews, and close friends, Timothy Shelton, Edna Smith, and Calvilon Wiseman.
Ronda will always be known as a kind and giving person whose greatest joy was loving her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader and sports fan who loved cheering loudly for her beloved Buckeyes. Ronda will always be loved and never forgotten.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.
