Carol E. Cline, 75, of Bellefontaine passed away at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020 in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born in Cambridge, Ohio on Feb. 8, 1945, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Burris) Bromelow. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eric Cline.
On Dec. 31, 1963, she married Leonard Cline in Piedmont, and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Chasity (Derek) Cline-Covington of Bellefontaine, a son, Leonard “Lenny” (Kim) Cline of DeGraff, five grandchildren; Erica Cooper, Kinell Stahler, Dylan Cline, Derek Cline, and Jenna Cline, two step grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren, and a sister, Janie Bromelow of Zanesville.
Carol was a 1963 graduate of Sarahsville High School and worked for Honda of America Manufacturing for nearly 26 years before retiring in 2005. She was a member of Gretna Brethren Church in Bellefontaine. After retiring, she and Leonard moved to Foley, Alabama for 12 years. She and her husband traveled extensively including trips to Europe, Mexico, and multiple cruises.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no services, but a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
