Fairlawn’s boys basketball team dominated host Riverside over the first three quarters Friday en route to a 74-37 non-league win.
The loss drops the Pirates to 1-2 on the season as the Jets stay unbeaten at 3-0.
“Obviously, Fairlawn is a good team,” said RHS head coach Seth Bodenmiller. “We knew that going in and we just did not execute on either end of the floor. We were only down by 10 at the end of the first quarter, but we just could not score in the second quarter. After halftime, we made a couple of runs, but Fairlawn responded every single time.”
