The Raiders fell down by seven points in the second half before rallying for a 48-47 victory over the visiting Pioneers in a non-league boys basketball game.
Ben Logan is now 5-4, while LTC falls to 3-3.
“Any time you are able to beat a quality opponent in a close game it does a lot for your confidence,” said Ben Logan head coach Matt McCurdy. “We are 5-4 going into the new year and that is a pretty good feeling.”
Trailing 44-43, Austin VanBuskirk drilled a three-pointer from the top of the key with 1:23 remaining to give the Raiders the lead for good.
“Austin has a ton of confidence and he hit a huge shot for us,” said McCurdy.
