Phillip A. Lamberson, 72, of Lakeview, passed away at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 201.7 at his home. He was born in Columbus on Sept. 25, 1944, to the late Turley and Rilla Daly Lamberson.
He is survived by his son, Sean Phillip Lamberson of Hopkinsville, Ky.; sister, Gail Lirette of The Villages, Fla.; nephews, Brian (Leah) Lirette of Bellefontaine and Blake Lirette of Russells Point; several cousins; and many friends.
Phillip was a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired as a chef and Japanese chef. Phillip was a member of AMVETS Doyle R. Miller Post 39 in Lakeview. He was an avid and accomplished trap shooter. Many say he was a “born natural.” Phillip loved to go fishing and hunting. All who loved him will miss him.
A memorial service begins at 4 p.m. Monday, June 19, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, where visitation is two hours prior to the service. Military rites will be provided by the Logan County Veteran’s Honor Guard following the service.
