Patricia Lynn Sieg Pfeiffer, 57, of Mt. Victory, passed away at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family after a 12-year battle with cancer.
She was born in Kenton on April 16, 1958, to John and Norma Born Sieg, who survive in Mt. Victory.
On May 19, 1984, she married Rex Pfeiffer and he survives in Kenton, along with a brother, Mark Sieg of Ridgeway; a niece, Ashton (Aaron) Gensheimer and great-niece, Avery, all of Kennesaw, Ga.; a nephew, Nicholas (Becky) Sieg and great-nephews, Ethan Edward, Auston, Jack and Bailee, all of Bellefontaine.
Patricia attended the Mt. Victory School and graduated with the Ridgemont class of 1977. She was a member of the Mt. Victory United Methodist Church and also attended the First Reformed Church of Kenton.
Patricia had a love of music, TV, puzzles and going to concerts with her aunt and uncle, Mary and Wes. She loved eating out and watched for the opening date of the Dairy Queen. She enjoyed helping her mother in the kitchen, baking cookies for Christmas plates. Patricia especially enjoyed the family trip to Florida last July and all the special occasions with family during the year.
A loving tribute is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardin County Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the James Cancer Hospital who became a very important part of her life; and to Hardin County Hospice for their help at the end.
