Beverly Ann “Tub” Corwin, 55, of West Liberty, passed away at 2:23 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born in Bellefontaine on March 30, 1960, a daughter of the late George Jr. and Helen Rita Harford Coy. She also was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Vestal, in 2001; and a brother, Bozy Coy, in 2012.
On Nov. 6, 1986, she married John Edward Corwin in Bellefontaine and he survives, along with a son, Raymond “Eric” Corwin; four daughters, Angelia Rita “Ang” Corwin, Amy Ann Elizabeth “Amers” Corwin, Jennifer Marie “Jenn” Corwin and Kimberly Lynn “Kimmie” Lach; 12 grandchildren, Temprence Sueann “Tempy Sue,” Justin Corey, Alayna Grace, Carson Noah Edward “Bino,” Serenity Faithann, Landyn Michael David “Little Man,” Kaelyn Brooke, Makinzy Marie, Ian Matthew “Tank,” Makayla, Mallory Blanton, Dillon Robert and many other adopted grandkids and kids, two sisters, Cynthia “Sis” (Jeff) Sherrick of Bellefontaine, Deborah “Deb” Coy of Beaverdam, one brother, Tony “Hole” (Barbara) Coy of Quincy; and three special friends, Kim Hudson of Urbana, Cody Instine of Cable and Michael Samples of West Liberty.
She worked as a housekeeper at Luther Manor in Bellefontaine for many years. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, family and friends. She loved watching NASCAR, WWF Smack Down, Monday Night Raw, Footloose and It’s a Wonderful Life. She also loved to read her Bible.
Brother Mikey Coy will officiate a funeral at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, where visitation begins at noon. The family requests that attendees please dress casual for services.
