Indian Isles took the brunt of damage from severe storms that moved through Logan County today, reportedly downing utility poles and stripping roofing off homes and boat wells.

Dayton Power & Light reported that 1,251 customers in Logan County were without power just after the overnight storm had passed through the area at 2:40 a.m. today. A total of 568 customers remained without power at 8 a.m.
The Logan County Electric Cooperative reported 21 customers without power just after the storm and no outages remained at 8 a.m.
A local weather reporter near Huntsville recorded nearly an inch-and-a-half of rain while Bellefontaine’s official recorder reported significantly less precipitation.
