Marguerite Cottrel Bell wants her family, friends and loved ones to know her work here on earth is done and she has moved on to her heavenly home on her 80th birthday, July 5, 2018.
She was born to the late Ralph Layton Cottrel and the late Loretta Schmeiser Cottrel on July 5, 1938. Marguerite will be meeting her siblings, Polly Ford and William “Bill” Cottrel, in heaven.
She lived a very busy and blessed life here on earth. After graduating from Fairlawn High School, she and Ronald Bell got married Oct. 5, 1958. They were blessed with four children, Shane (Laura) Bell, Tami (Scott) Boyer, Matthew (Nanette) Bell and Josh (Bradley Bush) Bell. Their family went on to expand to include seven grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Clarkson, Sarah Bell, Shennon Boyer, Michael (Rose) Boyer, Nicholas Boyer, Michaela Bell and Kelsea Bell. Later, four great-grandchildren arrived to include Gabriel Clarkson, Tristen Boyer, Tyler Rabbani and Travis Boyer.
Marguerite was a member of the Quincy United Methodist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir, work as financial secretary and give testimonials. As she would request, she will have her visitation time and services held in view of the stained glass windows she loved to admire.
Please join her and her loving family in celebrating her life from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, July 9, at the Quincy United Methodist Church, 111 South St., Quincy, where Pastor Barb Staley will conduct a funeral service at noon. Graveside services will follow, so guests can enjoy nature one last time with Marguerite. Loving nature, Marguerite will rest in peace surrounded by trees in the Fairview Cemetery in Quincy.
The family wants guests to be comfortable and wear jeans. This was her favorite attire.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Quincy United Methodist Church, 111 South St., Quincy, OH 43343.
