Cody E. Harvey, 27, of Grovetown, Ga., was charged with violating a civil protection order and obstructing official business related to an incident Wednesday in the city.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to 616 Jay Ave. about 9:30 a.m. to serve a civil protection order to Harvey. The court order instructed him to vacate the residence and surrender several vehicles and the keys to the home.
Deputies said they spoke with Harvey at the home and he became angry upon learning that he was being ordered to leave the residence. He told deputies to leave his property and said he was not surrendering any vehicles or leaving the residence.
He was placed under arrest and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
