Cody K. Wilds, 21, of 850 Bonnie Lane, Apt. 202, was arrested today for aggravated menacing and domestic violence.
Around 12:10 a.m., an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department on duty at Mary Rutan Hospital met with Cody Waterbeck, of the same address, in the emergency room department. Waterbeck said Wilds became angry after the victim came home from work tired and wanted to go sleep.
Wild allegedly assaulted Waterbeck, hitting him several times in the face and scratching the victim’s right leg. The suspect also allegedly brandished a knife and threatened to stab the victim.
The officer then met with Wilds when he arrived at the hospital.
He was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
