The Knowlton Library, 220 N. Main St., hosts a summer reading program kick-off from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9.
The theme for the party is “A Learning Luau,” where participants can celebrate Hawaiian culture by playing traditional instruments and learning the meaning of hula dance.
Participants can also enjoy outdoor games, try out a bouncy house, and cool off with refreshments in the library’s north parking lot.
