Bellefontaine’s girls golf team won a three-team match with Urbana and Northwestern on Monday at Urbana Country Club.
The Chiefs’ Madison Taylor and Kayla Watkins were co-medalists with 40s.
Also for BHS, Anastasia Hiatt shot 54, Kyndal Newkirk carded a 55, Lexi Buffkin had a 61 and Morgan Burden shot 65.
Bellefontaine is back in action today at home vs. Jonathan Alder.

Triad downs Jets
Triad’s boys golf team won over Northeastern 177-193 on Monday at National Links.
The Cardinals were led by co-medalist Cole Pond with a 41. Also for Triad, Ryan Gross shot 43, Matt Richards had 46 and Jalen Notts shot 47.
Triad is now 6-2 in Ohio Heritage Conference action. The Cards play at Greeneview today.
Calvary tops Gophers
Calvary Christian’s boys golf team defeated Ridgemont 233-238 on Monday at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.
Calvary’s Patrick James was the medalist with a 48. He was followed by Isaac Dillon with 55. The remaining scores were not reported.
The Spartans return to action today in a three-team match with Riverside and Troy Christian at Cherokee Hills.
Urbana upends Chiefs
Bellefontaine’s boys golf team was defeated by Urbana 180-206 on Monday at Urbana Country Club.
Liam Harris led the Chiefs with a 46. Joe Boop shot 49, Aidan Mifsud had 54, Austin Hammond had a 57 and Kody Watts shot 61.
Bellefontaine is back in action today at home against Kenton Ridge.
Indian Lake falls in tri-match
Indian Lake’s boys golf team was defeated by Botkins and Jackson Center in a three-team match Monday at Shelby Oaks Golf Course.
Botkins won with a 152, Jackson Center shot 181 and the Lakers had 184.
Botkins’ Jack Dietz was the medalist with a 36.
For the Lakers, Lane McPherson led the team with a 38. He was followed by Dylan Rice and Camdon Tuttle with 48s, Josh Staley with 50, Maddux Hall with a 53 and Tyler Michael with a 54.
