Karla T. Clark, 57, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born Jan. 21, 1959, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of Roscelle Clark of Bellefontaine and the late Beverly Mae Deslandes Clark. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Valarie Hamilton; and brothers, Robert Hamilton, Phillip Clark and Roderick Clark.
Survivors include a daughter, Karlyssia (Robert) Titus of Mt. Victory; a son, Tyrell Clark of Bellefontaine; sisters, Karen (Kirk) Clark-Lewis of Bellefontaine, Kim (Sidney) Slaughter of Lewis Center and Barbara Feagins of Colorado; a brother, Roscelle (Pam) Clark II of Bellefontaine; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Charles Colvin.
She operated a day care facility and was a member of the Grace A.M.E. Church. She was an avid TV watcher, especially soap operas. She was a warm, loving person to everybody and always put other people’s needs ahead of her own. She was known for knowing everyone’s birthdays and anniversary dates.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, and one hour prior to a funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, at Christ Our King Church in Bellefontaine. Burial is in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
