Jeri A. Rose, 67, of Lakeview, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, in Ohio State University Medical Center after several years of failing health.
She was born June 10, 1949, in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph W. and Florence Lynch Dever who preceded her in death.
Jeri loved her grandsons and enjoyed watching them compete in sporting events.
Jeri is survived by her husband of 48 years, George M. Rose; along with her two children, Joe of Lakeview and Sallie (Scott) Workman of West Liberty; three grandsons, Lance Cpl. Casey (Courtney) Gannon of North Carolina, Corey (Katlyn) Gannon of Springfield and Tanner Workman of West Liberty; a brother, Tom (Pat) Dever of Springfield; brother-in-law, Bill (Connie) Rose of Bellefontaine; sisters-in-law, Peggy (Junior) Bingham of Ft. Loramie and Judy Rose of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Eldon and Nancy Rust; and brother-in-law, Tom Rose.
Funeral services are at noon Friday, Dec. 23, in the Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating .Calling is two hours prior to the service. Burial follows in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Springfield.
