Indian Lake State Parks saw a significant uptick in revenues last year, which means parks administrators have more to spend on maintenance and upkeep.

Parks Manager George Sholtis told around 70 people at Friday’s Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce Legislative Luncheon that a new provision setting aside 5 percent of the previous year’s revenues for maintenance gives him $43,000 to spend in 2018.
Those funds will be used to put new roofs on 14 various buildings and cover painting and lighting improvement projects.
