Officials from the Logan County Health District announced this week that it has updated the process of the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list for individuals in Phase 1B of distribution.
Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health recently announced the Phase 1B individuals as follows:
• Ohioans age 65 and older;
• Those living with severe congenital, developmental or early onset medical disorders; and
• Adults who work in schools.
The LCHD is asking Logan County residents who are age 75 or older to visit www.loganhealth.org to complete the online form to be added to the waiting list.
“Please ask a close friend or family member for assistance if you do not have Internet access,” officials said. “If you do not have the means available to use the website entry, you must call our new, more direct line (937) 592-9040, Option 6, to be added to the waiting list. Please note that using the website is the fastest and preferred method of being added to the waiting list.
“If you have already called to be added to our waiting list, please do not fill out the online form as it will further delay our processes.”
Due to an overwhelming response, LCHD is asking Logan County Residents who are between age 65 and 75 to wait for further instruction at this time.
The health follows the Ohio Department of Health’s Vaccination Distribution Plan for those that are eligible to receive it at this time. As vaccination efforts continue to unfold, the agency will keep area residents informed through the local media, its website at www.loganhealth.org and social media pages.
“Please do not call asking when your group will be vaccinated,” officials said.
“LCHD understands the difficult decisions being made during the COVID-19 pandemic and appreciates your dedication to the health and safety of all Logan County residents and visitors.”
