The Indian Lake Board of Education elected officers and set their schedule for the year during their recent organizational meeting.
Treasurer Coleen Reprogle administered oaths of office to Gabe Wickline and Chad Ross from an electronic connection. Wickline was again unanimously voted board president for the fifth year in a row. Chad Ross was chosen to serve as vice president for the fourth year.
Reprogle and board member Kim Boswell both attended the meeting via Zoom call.
The board considered and passed several annual housekeeping items to begin the new year and set committee assignments.
The board also scheduled the meeting dates for the coming year, with most meetings to be conducted on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Indian Lake board office.
The regular January meeting will take place Tuesday, Jan. 19, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and the February meeting will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 16, because of Presidents’ Day.
The August meeting will be Monday, Aug. 16, at 5 p.m. to allow the public to attend the meeting during Open House Night.
Finally, the December meeting will be Monday, Dec. 13th to accommodate the school calendar and board member schedules.
