Faith Olivia Deppert Hurley, 33, of Cleveland, passed away July 18, 2016.
She was the beloved wife of James Hurley, formerly of Bellefontaine; loving mother of Simon and Auguste; devoted daughter of James and Theresa Braun Deppert; dear sister of Rebekah Missi (Jason) and Leah Deppert; granddaughter of Ruth Deppert and the late Ralph Deppert and Dr. Raymond and Jean Braun; daughter-in-law of James and Evelyn Hurley of Lewistown; sister-in-law of Kelly Wagner and Kyle of Lewistown; and aunt of Aurellia, Ella, Emery and Evie.
Faith was an integral part of Saint Martin De Porres High School, an enthusiastic teacher of English, and a friend and mentor to students and colleagues alike. She most recently served the school as the dean of curriculum and instruction. She loved to read, cook and spend time in nature, especially Linwood Park in Vermilion. She was a dedicated and selfless mother to Simon and Auguste, who will forever carry her enthusiastic spirit and loving care.
A funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Bay Presbyterian Church, 25415 Lake Road, Bay Village. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon. Private interment is at a later date.
