Dwight E. Connolly, 63, of Marysville, died after declining health on Tuesday, Sept., 4, 2018, at his home.
He was a former employee for 18 years at the Honda Marysville Automotive Plant and retired after 11 years as a Realtor.
He was a longtime member of the Marysville First United Methodist Church and a member of the Black Wing Shooting Center in Delaware, Ohio.
Dwight will be remembered as an easy going and big-hearted man who was known for his genuineness and kindness toward family and friends alike. He was well known for his big smile and for never knowing a stranger.
Dwight was born Nov. 23, 1954, in Columbus to the late Roscoe R. and Edith I. Buerger Connolly. A daughter, Melissa S. Aluisio, also preceded him in death.
He married Rachel M. Snook, the love of his life, on June 30, 1990, at the Marysville First United Methodist Church, and his loving wife of 28 years survives, along with grandchildren, Noah C. Baldwin and C.C. Baldwin; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip F. and Sarah E. Connolly of Marysville and their children, John and Pam Connolly, Michael and Sarah Connolly and Kathy and Eric Rohrs; in-laws, Jean (Tom) Williams and their children, Tom (Libby), Ken, Bruce (Becky); Fred (Suzanne) Lockwood and their children, Cody and Isabel; Linda (Kit) Carson and their children, Katina, Mike and Michelle (David) Smith; John (Steve Malone) Lockwood; Sharon (Tim) Jones and their children, Jason and Missy Inskeep and Ty and Kristi Inskeep; Sheila (Alan) Hites and their children, Taylor, Jodi and Jamie; Robert H. Snook Jr.; David (Amy) Snook and his chil- dren, Sarah, Eric and Drew; Julie (Angela Williams) Snook; and Chris Clark and Greg Clark and their daughter, Minna; many great- nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Marysville First United Methodist Church. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the Ingram Funeral Home in Marysville.
The Rev. Aaron Brown officiates and burial follows at Oakdale Cemetery.
