Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities officials highlighted during the Thursday evening board meeting various activities this month in recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, with the theme “What’s Your Story?”
Superintendent Saul Bauer reported that Project STIR members attended an Advocacy Day at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.
Also, RTC Industries will host an appreciation breakfast March 29 to honor area companies that support local clients.
Earlier this month, Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Director John Martin was the keynote speaker for the annual elected officials breakfast, as previously reported in the Examiner.
A video showing the diversity of services and clients was shown at the breakfast, and can be viewed at www.logancbdd.org by clicking on the “What’s Your Story?” picture.
A new blog featuring various client experiences also is available at this link.
