Crews have begun demolishing the former Hopewell Dairy building at 1102 Carlisle St. in what will be the first of two if not three demolitions along the Main Street corridor this year.

Jeremy LeVan of LeVan Investments said the former dairy, which has housed a variety of businesses in recent years, was beyond repair.
He hopes removing the building will make the property more attractive to a developer.
