Deborah Jean Shoe, 65, of DeGraff, passed away at 2:21 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Bellefontaine on March 4, 1953 ,to the late Carl and Geraldine Keagy Henry.
On Jan. 2, 1978, she married Samuel Richard Shoe, and he survives.
She is also survived by her children, Beth (Ci) Noble, Kevin McGinnis, Dustin (Angie) Shoe and Clinton (Angela) Shoe, all of DeGraff; Shannon Shoe of Quincy and Alicia (Travis) Temple of West Liberty; grandchildren, Cyle, Aaron, Ryan, Landon, Ayva, Jayden, Blaine, Kylie, Addison, Evan, Brady, Preston and Whitney; siblings, Dave (Barb) Henry of Cincinnati, Barb (late Kit) Heath of Springfield and Dianne (Jim) Gilley, Sheryl (Mike) LaBatt and Dana Henry, all of Bellefontaine; and many nieces and nephews.
Deborah attended the Quincy United Methodist Church. She worked as a childcare provider and throughout the years took care of many young children who became an extension of her family.
Deborah took pride in decorating for every holiday. She was a HUGE Michigan Wolverines football fan, and her family and friends knew not to call her during the games. All who knew Deborah will truly miss her.
Pastor Nate Wilcoxon officiates a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes St., DeGraff, where visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25.
The family requests that guests wear Michigan Wolverine attire to the visiting hours.
