London Kilgore, 42, of Dayton, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and possession of drugs following a crash about 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a westbound car on State Route 366 near Township Road 239 when she attempted to make a left-hand turn to the entrance of Four Seasons Campground, 11047 State Route 366, Lakeview. Her car was struck in the passenger side by an eastbound sport utility vehicle operated by Jeffery Mygrant, 58, of Marion.
Neither driver reported any injuries, and damage was heavy to both vehicles.
Deputies observed that Ms. Kilgore displayed signs of intoxication, and at the Logan County Jail, she tested 0.179 blood alcohol concentration. While being processed at the jail, corrections officers found a pill in her pants pocket, and she was issued the drug charge.
Ms. Kilgore also was cited for failure to yield and no operator’s license.
• Michael Hites, 20, of Kenton, was charged with OVI following a one-vehicle rollover crash early Sunday morning.
Deputies report he was operating a northbound car on U.S. Route 68 at County Road 111 about 12:50 a.m. when he drove off the right side of the road into a ditch and struck a sign. He then continued northbound across C.R. 111 and went back into the ditch, and the vehicle overturned.
Damage was heavy to his car. The driver was wearing his seat belt, but deputies noted he displayed signs of intoxication. At the jail, he tested 0.097 blood alcohol concentration, and he was released to a sober person.
Mr. Hites also was cited for failure to control.
